Player Check-In
All players are to be in possession of their player passes when the referee
approached to check them in at the start of the game. This is intended to
speed up check in and keep the games on schedule. This does not apply to
the U-6 division which does not have player passes. Line-Up cards
should be completely filled in, including the players' uniform numbers.
Player/Parent
Positioning on the Field
Under new State referee rules, parents must be on one side of the field
and both opposing teams must be on the other side of the field. With respect to Miller Field, the home team was on
the New Dorp Lane side of the field if it ran parallel to New Dorp Lane or the New Dorp HS side of the field if it ran parallel to Hylan Blvd.
This will now be the side that ALL parents are to be on. Players will now ALL be on the "visiting team" side of the field. As the players
face the field, the home team should be on the right side with the
visiting team to their left. Similar positioning relative to the closest major road should be used at Great Kills, St Dorothy and
OLSS.
